Making the Map

Philadelphia has a lot of hidden environmental treasures. We know it. You know it. But we need your help proving it.

That's why we're creating an interactive Google map of Philly's most significant "green" locations. They can been eco-friendly businesses, significant nature sites or even places where the city's environmentalists gather and plan to help us all reduce our carbon footprints.

We want your input. E-mail your suggestions by noon, Monday Aug. 25 to jmathis@philadelphiaweekly.com. Or leave your ideas in the comments section below. The map goes online Aug. 27, in conjunction with PW's "green" issue.
