KYW 1060 reports an overnight "wintry mix" is slowing today's commute: "As of early Wednesday morning, Septa reported some delays on buses, rails, and trolleys due to the weather. There were no problems on mass transit or Amtrak. All flights from and to Philadelphia International Airport were on time or close to schedule. Travelers can get flight information at phl.org. Major arteries were treated but were wet. Many secondary roads were blanketed with snow and slippery. Penndot spokesman Gene Blaum says crews are working overtime: "Penndot has 300 trucks out throughout the five-county region. We will be plowing as necessary, depending on the intensity of this storm.""
