SILive.com reports that former Eagle Brian Westbrook could end up with NFC East rival Giants. ""At this point I'm not sure where I'll be at," Westbrook told Philadelphia sports talk station 97.5 The Fanatic when asked outright if he'd consider signing with another NFC East team. "But I would be willing to go to any team that would have me, any team in search of a championship."Teaming the Washington, D.C. product with Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw in the Big Blue backfield could give the Giants the flexibility they had in the running game before Derrick Ward bolted for Tampa Bay following the 2008 season when the Giants had the league's top-ranked rushing offense. Last year, without Ward, the Giants' running game was rated 17th. “I wish I would have had an opportunity to finish things a little better than I did in Philadelphia,” Westbrook said. “Now I have an opportunity to finish up with another team.”
