Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post says that marquee free-agent-to-be Julius Peppers could have the Eagles on his short list of teams. But Eagles analyst Ray Didinger isn't so sure that's a hot idea: "He has all the physical ability in the world, but he doesn’t give effort on a consistent basis. He can look like Reggie White one week and Betty White the next. A lot of fans want the Eagles to sign him, and there is no doubt they could use another butt-kicking end to play opposite Trent Cole, but Peppers is an enigma. For the amount of money it will take to sign Peppers, a team has to be sure it has strong leadership – either coaches or veteran teammates – to get the best out of him."
