KYW 1060 reports that Foxwoods Casino is being penalized for failing to get its proposed South Philly location built: "On Wednesday afternoon the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board read the management of Foxwoods the riot act, and indicated that Foxwoods' casino license could even be in jeopardy. The issue was recent attempts by Foxwoods to get more time to submit documents pertaining to their project on a Delaware riverfront site, including financial statements and renderings of what the casino would look like. The gambling board on Wednesday reject Foxwoods' request for more time and imposed a fine of $116,000 for its failure to provide the documents, plus an additional fine of $2,000 per day going forward until those documents are provided."
