Former Police Officer To Face Trial in Sex Abuse Case

KYW 1060 reports that retired Officer Tyrone Wiggins was bound over for trial on sex assault charges. "The woman, now 24, testified at a preliminary hearing on Thursday that she first met 50-year-old former officer Tyrone Wiggins when she was ten years old.  He was her karate instructor at the Olney Recreation Center.  She says he befriended her family and within two years started having sex with her in his van, her house, his house, a hotel, and at the rec center. And she says he warned her not to tell anyone because he would lose his job, go to jail, and he would hurt her."

“It is a shame how the media hypes things up, Read the whole story and you will see it makes no sense, she is all over the place with her story, it doesn't add up. Come on in a car, at the rec center where there was always peolpe there and in his own house. At the age of 10 or 12 which one is it, first we read she was 12 now they say she was 10 either way someone would have had to know something was wrong with that child. You can't believe everything you hear. Has the media allowed his side of the story to be in the paper no I wonder why??????????”
