AP reports that Feds indicted John Gassew, a 23-year-old Philly man who'd been arrested -- but never convicted -- 44 times previously. "A federal grand jury on Tuesday indicted 23-year-old John Gassew on charges of interfering interstate commerce. Investigators say he robbed a pair of convenience stores at gunpoint in October. ... Police say they shot Gassew four times after he crashed a stolen getaway car after the robberies. He will remain in custody until his trial. Gassew faces a maximum of life in prison if convicted of the federal charges."
