Before 'Top Chef,' Jen Zavala was on Bon Appecheap

Congratulations to Jen Zavala of El Camino Real, who is one of the contestants in the newest edition of Top Chef. We went to shoot her for Bon Appecheap a few months back -- a couple of times, actually, thanks to technical difficulties on our end -- and told us she hoped to be cast on the show. She was charming and the chorizo burritos she made for us were one of our favorite things to eat since we started Appecheap.

So congrats again, Jen! We'll be rooting for you!
