Brandon Stoneham, an openly gay Division 1 soccer player at Adelphi University, is one of a growing number of student athletes who are, in his words, “redefining normal.” For this panel discussion, Stoneham will be joined by three other young athletes from the area who are doing the same thing. Sharing their own experiences and the animosity they’ve endured, each will aim to address the challenges that continue to face openly LGBT athletes in college, amateur and professional sports. Babymaking in the 21st Century: Assisted Reproduction Options for LGBT Parents

With so many options open to LGBT parents looking to start a family, deciding on the right one can be an overwhelming process. During this workshop, a local lawyer, family therapist, parents and a known sperm donor will lead an informative discussion exploring all the considerations and perspectives involved including, surrogacy and how to evaluate cryobanks. For those considering adoption, Philadelphia Family Pride will also host an “Adoption Options” event at 12:30 p.m. featuring a panel of parents and experts. Starting at 3:30 p.m., prospective parents from both workshops are invited to a happy hour event with free drinks and nachos at William Way, where they’ll have a chance to chat informally with the presenters. SundayOUT! at the Piazza

More than 150 artisans, food vendors and community organizations will fill the Piazza for seven straight hours of outdoor fun, mingling and live entertainment. In addition to popular Israeli DJs, Maya Jakobson and Elad Magdasi, the diverse lineupof performers include critically acclaimed Israeli pop-star and recording artist Shorty, British singing sensation Neon Hitch, and Fuego Dance Company, Philly’s largest salsa dance studio.
