Center Cage
Regarding Randy LoBasso’s cover story about MMA fighting:
I can say without a doubt that the smaller promotions show the fans what the sport should be. Locked in the Cage is a serious promotion and are serious about passion of mixed martial arts. I’ve followed this sport for the last 13 years and to tell you the truth, I would rather watch local promotions any day compared to the UFC/Strikeforce. Keep on movin’!

United Way
Regarding Tara Murtha’s column on the continuation of the MilkBoy union saga:
As a dues-paying union member myself, I am appalled by the behavior of my fellow union workers. Sure, it blows that Milkboy didn’t hire all union, but guess what? They admitted the error. It’s a free country, Milkboy was within their right to choose anyone they want to get the job done. Watching how unionized workers behaved in response to the construction only serves to verify that it was the right decision in the end. Can you imagine what antics would have ensued if they had gone all union? I believe that unions are good—there are a lot of bad businesses out there who willingly take advantage of their employees and workers have the right to organize. However, resorting to antics bordering on violent is the wrong answer.
