Hot in the City

That’s the theme of PW’s Summer Guide 2009. So what if it’s the middle of May and it still feels like March? This issue is about more than high temperatures; it’s about high pulse rates and heavy breathing and the heat that’s generated simply by standing next to someone who turns you on. Summer is the sexiest season: all that sweat and lassitude and ice in your drinks. Ice that could be used for other purposes ... ahem. Anyway. Cosmopolitan.com has suggestions for summer sex: things like dress skimpy (for your man!), use minty-cool lube (on your man!), eat a popsicle (while straddling your man!) ... you get the idea. We have what we think are more thought-provoking summer-sex ruminations. Liz Spikol talks to Elicia Gonzalez, of the Mazzoni Center, about Philly’s plans for National Masturbation Month.
