Seth Williams is back on the D.A. ballot.

District Attorney hopeful Seth Williams is back in the race for the May 19th Democratic primary. The Commonwealth Court reversed Common Pleas Judge Allan Tereshko's decision to exclude Williams from the ballot following a challenge to his campaign finance paperwork by the McCaffery campaign.

"This was all just a political ploy of my opponents who just can't beat me on the issues, that's all it's about,” says Williams. “I'm glad that the Commonwealth Court ruled on the law and not political cronyism and we're moving forward.”

The Williams camp never stopped moving, holding rallies and soliciting support, with volunteers operating phone banks even while the appeal was being heard.

“I'm very thankful for all my supporters who volunteered here over the last 10 days or so and were out at the rally and giving money and things," Williams said. "This galvanized my supporters and now hopefully we can focus on the issues that are germane to the race for district attorney like getting the guns off the street and making the city safer.”
