Socially SEPTAble
Regarding Lush Life:
I have witnessed some crazy stuff go down on the Night Owl. One night a guy pulled his pants down and refused to pull them up. He was scary so everyone just let him stand there. If SEPTA ran 24 hours, this wouldn’t be a problem. Imagine all the drunk driving they would stop by having regular lines after midnight.

Pack and Play
Regarding Matt Petrillo’s story on street musicians:
Thanks for recognizing three outstanding street performers. They and others like them perform a vital service for our city. As sometime such a player myself, I recognize the truth of what Michael Mantra says about the intimacy and directness these very public venues promote. Let’s do what we can to make music a vital part of our public life.

As Scene On
Regarding Brian Freedman’s review of Twenty Manning:
Two paragraphs about a burger, and then the briefest review of just a few other dishes? Most of this review was about what the patrons were wearing. More food, less “scene," please.
