No, you're not seeing double. Or triple. The Phillie Phanatic is all around town, greeting fans wherever they go!
The Phillies and the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation have teamed up to launch the “Phanatic Around Town” public-art project, which has placed 20 Phanatic statues, each painted by local artists, across the city. The mascots will remain throughout the season, and will be auctioned off in August. Proceeds will go to Phillies Charities.
If that isn't enough to get you outside, various museums and other local attractions are offering discounts to celebrate the unveiling.
(Phanatic No. 20 is a mystery location, which will be announced at a later date).

Yanks fans don't open their mouths until their high priced team buys a new championship. He'll crawl back in his hole again, just like mouthy Yanks fans did when the Phils won in '08 (and when the Indians beat the Yanks in '07 and when the Tigers beat the Yanks in '06...etc.) Go get 'em Phillies!”
