Cooking 101
In response to Nicole Finkbiner’s column
Forking Stupid, in which she sampled food from Trolley Car Diner:
The thing I like most about your columns is you go into each session with a positive attitude and truly seem to enjoy your experience, which makes us enjoy it too. I look forward to finding out what you will try next. Good job!

Trolley Car Diner is one of my favorite places to go and try new things all the time! Being a chef, the different options I have there and the quality of the food just makes me keep going back again and again. It is always my fallback, especially when I’m craving a milkshake. My boyfriend and I often go there just to split a Bettie Page.

To Thai For
In response to Brian Freedman's review of Baan Thai:
So happy to read a good review of Baan Thai! I live in NoLibs and have been desperate for good Thai in the city and am so lucky Baan Thai opened. Naturally, I go there at least once a week now. Best Thai food in Philadelphia! Hoping for much success for them!

Get Reel
In response to Sean Burns’ review of Amour:
Though his review is thoughtful, I disagree with Mr. Burns’ characterizations of director Michael Haneke and his audience; showing truth doesn’t make you a sadist, and willingness to face truth doesn’t make you a masochist.
