Who wins the title of Worst Jew Ever? Who’s chosen to be most damaging to the Chosen People? Not Matisyahu. He’s not worse than Adam Sandler, whose unfunny “Hanukkah Song” is better known than the names of the Maccabees. He’s not worse than Joe Lieberman—and not even McCain-hugging 2008 Lieberman. No, even worse is yarmulke-waving 2000 Joe Lieberman, who promised to turn the vice presidential catering over to Rachael’s Nosheri. Dude couldn’t even deliver Florida. Also worse? Bernie Madoff and Kenny G, for their respective crimes against humanity and shame brought upon our people. And who could forget Saul of Tarsus, the original self-hating Jew? But after those five comes the Hasidic reggae artist who spends more time not playing Friday-night shows than he does making sure his songs actually sound good. You’ve made it to No. 6, Matisyahu. Mazel tov. ■
