Not many bands can hold a candle to Japanese noise-psyche slashers DMBQ, who blast through a live set that includes guitars being played with teeth and leaves no eardrum undamaged, no PA unclimbed. This show--with intense song stranglers Aids Wolf and ear- scorching locals Birds of Maya--is being billed as a "Halloween Hangover," and it's a potent blend of the hair of the dog that bit ya, a perfect Sunday evening of extended euphoria that'll make Monday all the harder to wake up for.
