If you need proof Koffin Kats is the Week's Worst show, you need look no further than the description they've written for themselves under "Sounds like" on their MySpace (spelling their own): "Vic Singing and playing bass...while Tommy plays guitar...with drunkin backups...come on now...what the fuck...were a god damn band that plays anything we fuckin want to and hope not to sound like a rip off of bands we grew uplistening too...and if we do...well fuck it because there is always a case of PBR waiting for us...pretty fuckin simple." Oy. Further proof: They're called Koffin Kats.
Thurs., Jan. 8, 9pm. $10-$13. With the Goddamn Gallows and American Speedway. Trocadero Balcony, 1003 Arch St. 215.922.LIVE. www.thetroc.com

“Mainstream people may call it the worst, but a band that calls it like they see it, put out their own records, set up their own tours and play their asses off is worth the ticket. If you have nevder been to a KK show, and like psychobilly, go.”

“Week' Worst show? Are you serious? The Koffin Kats are one of the best live bands I have seen to date. Obviously you have never seen them, or you wouldnt be writing an article like this. Don't knock something until you try it.”
