After years of spilling out every kind of emotion imaginable between themselves and (sometimes unnecessarily) onto others, it only made sense to manifest these feelings through the only acceptable medium they knew how, music. Kafei grew from the connection between Alex, Doug, and Eric and not the other way around. The music relies on heavily-melodic foundations, disbanding the idea of compartmentalizing instruments, and rather creating a wash of collective sound, humbling themselves to the sheer beauty of a simple melodic line.
