Banjo-toting, alt-country crooners “Earl Pickens & Family” have just released their acoustic interpretation of the classic U2 album, The Joshua Tree. Performed and recorded live, this song-by-song rendition of the original album dismantles and reconstructs each song with upright bass, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, snare drum and haunting vocal harmonies. The end result is a new album that presents the well-worn Joshua Tree songs in a different light; retaining and enhancing their emotional resonance. Earl Pickens & Family will be performing The Joshua Tree in addition to their own origin
