It’s PB&J time, y’all! On Sunday, Peter Bjorn and John are stopping by the TLA as part of their “Gimme Some” album tour. The band released their first album together in 2002, recording most of it in Bjorn Yttling’s apartment. Since then, Bjorn, John Eriksson and Peter Moren have released five albums, toured with such bands as Depeche Mode and shared the stage with numerous musicians including, Kanye West. Although the Swedish band usually writes, performs and produces all of their own songs, for this most recent album, they branched out and enlisted Per Sunding as producer. Yet, with their fun rhythm, catchy tunes and distinct sound, the guys stay true to their style. The show is bound to be a great night of pop-rock. Let’s just hope they don’t break through the floor again.
Sun/1. 8pm. $32. The TLA, 334 South St. 215.922.1011
