And if the road’s become home, the Rev and company remain true to their Hoosier roots wherever they go, keeping it real as they keep building their following.

“[People] think everything’s phony and faked,” says the Rev. “But where we come from it’s plain-speaking people who are what they are, who say what they mean and mean what they say. That’s the mentality that’s revered, and that’s the way we’re livin’ and playin’.”

Onstage and off, that comes through. In a big way.
