Korean restaurants in Center City are few and far between, but the humble Miran serves up some of the best, from the complimentary banchan, to the fiery kimchee-laden pancakes, stews and bibim bops. There's also the popular Korean barbecue--which you can cook yourself at the table using a built-in grill complete with a space-age silvery duct that looks like it was stolen from the Buck Rogers set--but unless you're especially talented, let the kitchen take care of it. There's enough work to do wrapping up the tasty short ribs and spicy pork in lettuce leaves and stuffing them in your mouth.
