Continental Mid-town

Continental Mid-town, a second location of Steven Starr's immensely popular Continental Restaurant and Martini Bar, includes the city’s first penthouse rooftop patio with an indoor-outdoor bar, a fireplace and fully-grown maple and birch trees. The restaurant's retro chic style and jet-set cool atmosphere includes a 5’, three-dimensional olive outside, complete with a plexi-glass toothpick and light-up pimento, that greets guests. The three-story restaurant and bar offers uncommon seating such as fiberglass and powder-blue faux-leather booths, a sunken lounge, hanging wicker baskets and Eero Aarnio “pony chairs.” Other unusual features include a bar constructed of rubber Pirelli flooring; white Lucite tables that look like frozen tablecloths; and a dazzling 8’ chandelier with over 140 multi-colored crackled glass globes. For dessert lovers, the new Continental has introduced a fun tapas dessert menu. Continental Mid-town also has an extensive list of signature cocktails.
