Restaurateur Stephen Starr opened Barclay Prime inside the posh Barclay residence on the southeast corner of Rittenhouse Square. Barclay Prime, Starr’s luxury boutique steakhouse concept, occupies the glorious and long vacant ground floor of one of the city’s most remarkable high-rise buildings. Executive Chef Mark Twersky created an indulgent steakhouse menu with a subtle contemporary twist. The restaurant’s delectable dishes include raw bar and seafood cocktail selections, such as: oysters; caviar; shrimp cocktail; and lobster cocktail. Appetizers include: oysters rockefeller; kobe sliders; and beef tartare. Entrees include: 21-day dry aged 20 oz. Gachot & gachot ribeye; dry aged porterhouse; kobe hangar steak; and amish organic chicken. Seafood selections include: butter poached lobster; wild salmon; ahi tuna; and shrimp scampi.
