With burgers taking our city (and Twitter feeds) by storm, how could we not hook up a run-down of Philly's latest entrants to the between-a-bun game? One of these burgermen practically asked for it. Actually, he did ask for it. So here's the SquareBurger/PYT face-off you've been waiting for (or are tired of hearing about) with the grass-lovin' Elevation Burger chain's new Wynnewood outpost thrown in for good karma. Order up!

“No comparison on service? That's a deal-maker/breaker for me...”

“Have you tried Sketch Burger on E Girard Ave?”

“I agree they should've compared service, as that's huge in my book. I can't vouch for the service at Elevation or SquareBurger, since I haven't tried them yet, but the service at PYT is atrocious. I wouldn't go there again based on how terrible my first experience of dining there was and I've heard pretty much the same thing from most people who've been there.”

“I prefer Sketch Burger over both Square and PYT, in terms of service no doubt about it. I'd like to try out Elevation Burger though.”

“40 minute wait for a cheeseburger? I'll pass.”

“You guys missed the best part of PYT's burger; Bacon & Cheddar, the magical Siegfreid & Roy of the burger world, come free too!! Also, you can sustitute freely with a choice of 7 other cheeses.”

“love, love, LOVE elevation burger. It is fast food, order-at-the-counter style, but they bring your food to your table and check on you several times through out your stay. I think elevation probably has the best service out of all fast food places I've been to. The tables are all clean, as is the rest of the place. Well worth the ride on the R5 (the Wynnewood train stop is directly across the street).”

“My only real gripe about the PYT burger is that for $8 it should come with a side of fries, not kettle chips.”

“I was at SquareBurger this week for lunch and while there was a nice crowd, there was NO WAIT. They've just announced they are open every day for lunch through October. Go now while the lines are short! That Cake Shake is worth the calories!”

“Butcher & Singer still has the best burger in the city on the lunch menu for $9.95....absolutely worth it...”

“
PYT has the worst service in the city.. plus they over promote a mediocre product.. twice I eat there and got the "shits" right after.
plus they double charge your credit card, and when I called to complain the phone was shut off.
WHACK!!!”

“Elevation is great and they made me realize I shouldn't feel bloated after I eat a burger. Organic is difinately better and at a decent price with unusually great service.”
