Blasphemous implications aside, bar-hopping zombies seem strangely befitting on the Christian holiday commemorating Jesus’ resurrection. The evening kicks off at the TLA, where professional makeup artists will offer zombie makeovers. Then, once given the go-ahead, the soulless corpses will follow “Zombie Jesus” out onto South Street, where they are welcomed to deviate from the pack in search of brains and booze. Several local bars will offer zombie-themed drink and food specials for the occasion, including $3 “Brain Eater” shots at Lickety Split and “Zombie Sangria” at Tattooed Mom. At 10 p.m., everyone is invited back to the TLA for a post-crawl bash featuring DJ Kiltboy and Dave Ghoul, more drinking and a special performance from the Rigor Mortis Revue. Those still hungry for more can creep over to Fluid Nightclub for the official “Zombie After Dark” party featuring the dark and dirty sounds of DJs John Stanley and Robert Drake. -Nicole Finkbiner
