What started out as a standard podcast, featuring long-form interviews with talented folks from Chicago, You, Me, Them, Everybody has since blossomed into a weekly late-night-style talk show taped in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and N.Y.C. Now, for the first time, creator, producer and host Brandon Wetherbee is coming to Philly to sit down and chat with two funny locals—stand-up comics Doogie Horner and Carolyn Busa. While Wetherbee doesn’t like sticking to a particular format with his guests, he’s confident their exchanges will amuse. “The talent pool in Philadelphia is definitely deep enough to consistently come back on a monthly basis and deliver a quality late-night experience,” he says. “As long as people laugh at dumb fart and dick jokes, everything will be fine and we’ll have a good time.” Indie rocker and War on Drugs’ guitarist/keyboardist Robbie Bennett will also be performing a special set. -N.F.
