Womynfest
For the 12th straight year, Vitamin D Productions is kicking off Women’s History Month in the best possible way: by showcasing the talents and diversity of women of all ages. This year the estrogen-fueled festival boasts an impressive lineup of performers, including multimedia-performance artist Bonnie MacAllister, acoustic rocker Mia Johnson, all-female long-form improv troupe ApocaLIPS and Philly’s award-winning drag and burlesque performance troupe, the Liberty City Kings. Although the entertainment is expected to become slightly less appropriate for youngsters after 9 p.m., the event is open to gals of all ages.
