Oh. Dip. A showcase sampling of hip-hop’s future is coming to Philly, as three of its best young MCs—A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q—come to the Electric Factory in what will likely be one of the best rap shows of the year. Touring to promote his just-pushed-back-again major label debut LongLiveA$AP, Rocky (and his A$AP Mob crew) will be performing songs from last year’s LiveLoveA$AP, the syrupy mixtape that exploded him onto the world. Fresh off this year’s Habits & Contradictions (not to mention the wild success of his Black Hippy counterparts Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock), ScHoolboy Q will support, hopefully by doing “Figg Get Da Money,” which has been stuck in my head for almost two years. And topping it off, Danny Brown—possibly the most interesting and addictive artist in music today—will rhyme about Adderall, cunnilingus and Molly Ringwald. And it will be good. -Bryan Bierman
