Passport to World Cinema Series: The Fifth Season

Presented by the School of Film and the Philadelphia Film Society, the "Passport to World Cinema" monthly film series features the past year's strongest cinema from around the globe.

This month features "The Fifth Season" by Belgian directors Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth ("Khadak," "Antiplano"), true visionaries of surrealistic cinema, who tell a bleak and beautiful tale of a small village where spring refuses to come, halting the harvest at a standstill and creating chaos among the residents.
