Italian Market Festival

Besides being the oldest and largest working outdoor market in the U.S., the Italian Market is home to more than 100 merchants; it’s one of the very few places in the city where you can get a bushel of bananas, a vinyl record and a slice of pizza all on the same block—and for less than $5. Celebrating the unique charm and diversity Ninth Street has to offer, this annual event guarantees to stimulate all of your senses simultaneously. In addition to the array of vendors lining the street and serving up every Italian delicacy possible, there will be a craft market featuring the handmade creations of local artists and three stages providing a mix of live music around the clock—from popular party hits to classic rock. -Nicole Finkbiner
