Freedom Swing Dance Challenge

After making a brief comeback in the late ’90s, one might have thought the swing revival movement was long gone. Wrong! Hosted by the Delaware Valley Shag & Swing Club, during Philly’s first West Coast swing competition, swingers of all levels will go toe-to-toe during three straight days of competitions. The contests will be broken up into two main formats: “Jack & Jill” and “strictly swing.” Winners will walk away with a generous cash prize. Watch from the sidelines or join in one of the several daily social dances or workshops. -Nicole Finkbiner
