Described as a “kind of Israeli Faulkner” (New York Times) for his ability to depict the zeitgeist of contemporary Israel, distinguished novelist A.B. Yehoshua is the author of more than a dozen books, including The Lover, A Late Divorce, Open Heart, A Journey to the End of the Millennium, and A Woman in Jerusalem, winner of the 2007 Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
