The three-time Grammy nominated Temple University Symphony Orchestra (TUSO), led by Music Director Luis Biava, will present the world premiere of acclaimed composer Michael Daugherty’s Reflections on the Mississippi for Tuba and Orchestra. with Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Tuba and Boyer College faculty member Carol Jantsch as soloist. The concert opens with Samuel Barber's rarely heard Prayers of Kierkegaard, featuring the combined choirs, and closes with Shostakovich's bright Ninth Symphon
