Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center Debuts “Culture and Conversation” Featuring Jazz Vocalist Phyllis Chapell
Join us for a concert, film preview, conversation, and reception, kicking off our new series, “Culture and Conversation.” Musician Phyllis Chapell, dubbed “one of the top jazz vocalists of all time” by Jazz Times, will perform and preview her short film “A-E-I-O-U Water.” The includes a conversation about water quality with Dr. Julie Becker, program director, Department of Public Health, University of the Sciences, and Joanne Dahme, public affairs manager, Philadelphia Water Department.
