Henry Horenstein: "Tales From the ’70s: Honky Tonk & Speedway"
Early in his career, Henry Horenstein knew that he wanted to photograph and to record history and to make books of his images, but he was puzzled about where to begin. Turning to his graduate school professor, Harry Callahan, for insight, Horenstein was told to photograph those things to which he was naturally drawn. Gallery 339 is pleased to present two bodies of work from the 1970's from the series "Honky Tonk" and "Speedway."
