Re-dedication ceremony of the official historical marker for Dr. Israel Goldstein
The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, South Philadelphia High School Alumni Association and South Phila . High School invites the South Philadelphia Community to a re-dedication ceremony of the official historical marker for Dr. Israel Goldstein co founder of Brandeis University. Dr. Goldstein was a graduate of the 2nd SPHS class in 1911 and had a distinguished career as an educator. The ceremony is Tuesday, November 13, 2012 10AM -12 noon at South Phila . High School 2101 S Broad Street (plaque dedication will be outside on Broad Street). A reception will follow in the high school.
