Empty Bowls Luncheon
Community Arts Center, in cooperation with the Potters Guild, is hosting its tenth annual Empty Bowls luncheon, a nationwide project dedicated to the aid of hunger fighting organizations, on Sunday, October 28th from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. For a minimum donation of $10 per bowl, attendees are invited to enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread served in a beautiful handmade bowl of their choice with 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser going to local food banks in Philadelphia and Chester.
