2012 Boxers' Trail 5K
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy and Charms of Fairmount Park Present the 2012 Boxers' Trail 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 20. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the run begins at 9:00 a.m. It will start at Laurel Hill Mansion on Randolph Drive, East Fairmount Park. Participants can walk or run the scenic cliff paths of East Fairmount Park and experience the wooded trains where heavy weight boxing champ Joe Frazier trained! Proceeds also benefit Mander Recreation Center.
