2012 Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival

Elvis fans will unite at the 2012 Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival, Oct. 19-21 at Fernwood Resort. The festival, taking place at the height of the fall foliage season, is just an hour away from New York City and Philadelphia. This year, top U.S. Elvis Tribute Artist Shawn Klush headlines the Saturday night Las Vegas-style show, “Half Heaven, Half Heartache,” which will be followed by a rockin’ late-night Halloween costume party. The Elvis Tribute Contest takes place throughout the weekend and is another festival highlight, with contestants competing for more than $5,000 in cash prizes and the winner representing the Festival at the 2013 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist World Championship. Friday night is the “Tribute to Rock and Roll History” show, featuring artists paying tribute to Elton John, Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger, among others. The Elvis Gospel Music Contest takes place Sunday morning.
