It’s hard to believe it’s been 19 years. Easton’s Weyerbacher has been one of the state’s rock solid breweries for nearly two decades, churning out a series of excellent beers. Despite this, national recognition has inexplicably eluded them. It hasn’t been for a lack of good beer, that’s for sure. This year, they celebrate all those years of good beers with Nineteen, a big, fruity blend of two wheat beers that tastes like nothing else out there. The head on this murky orange brew disappears almost right away, taking the aromas of mango, yeast and tartness with it. Dive into that first sip and you’ll discover more fruit, some sharp sourness, a host of juicy citrus flavors, a touch of wheat, and a hint of funk. Yes, there is a lot going on here—and it’s all delicious! Expect people to clamor for this one, so get it while you can at 2nd Street Brew House.
