We love beer. That's why we're devoting an entire year to discovering (and drinking) cold ones from near and far. Know of a beer worth shouting out? Send us a note at tips@philadelphiaweekly.com.

Some things sound so wrong but taste oh so right. DuClaw’s Sweet Baby Jesus! is one of them. To understand why, we’ll give you four simple words: liquid peanut butter cups. Sweet Baby Jesus! is a chocolate peanut butter porter, a roasty brown brew that tastes exactly like what those four words imply. Describing it in any further detail would almost be a waste. Instead, we’ll recommend that you save this for your last beer of the night. Sip it slow. Savor it like a kid who just came home with a bag of Halloween treats and wants to make sure they last. You’re probably not going to have more than one of these in a row—the “liquid peanut butter cups” description is not an exaggeration—but trust us, you DO want to have one. Get it on draft at Irish Pol, The Corner Foodery and Bobkat Liquors.
