We love beer. That's why we're devoting an entire year to discovering (and drinking) cold ones from near and far. Know of a beer worth shouting out? Send us a note at tips@philadelphiaweekly.com.

Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp collaboration with 12 different breweries is still one of the biggest buzzes in beer right now, and for a limited time brews from that historic mix pack are appearing on tap in Philly. There And Back is their collaboration with Wisconsin’s New Glarus, one of the nation’s best breweries (and one whose beer is tragically available only in Wisconsin). This is a classic ESB, aka Extra Special Bitter, a traditional English beer style characterized by rich caramel malts and a sting of Earthy hop bitterness. There is a doughy, bready character that is balanced by just enough herbal bitterness to push this beer into near perfect territory. A definitive ESB by any measure, try it at The Pour House Westmont, Flanigan’s Boathouse and London Grill.
