35 things to do in Philly Beer Week's first five days

Over the course of a week that somehow lasts 10 days, close to 250 venues across the Philadelphia region will host a thousand brew-related happenings. How do you choose? Here are three dozen unique options to start with. (Don’t worry—we’ll be back next issue with more.)

Thurs., May 30 (pre-launch)

Lex Luthor Beer Release

Duck Rabbit: Dinner, Beer and a Movie

Hammer of Glory Relay with the Philly Roller Girls

Samuel Adams Ice Cream Social

Brotherly Suds

Beer & Cheese with DiBruno’s & House of Cheese Book Signing

Opening Tap 2013

Strange Brew Screening

Post Opening Party

Weiss is Right

Take It In The Can!! A Celebration of Canned Craft Beers!

Superheroes vs. Supervillains with Bella Vista Beer Distributor

Craft Beer Day on East Passyunk

6th Annual Coffee Beer Brunch

2nd Annual DAY of GAMES w/ Johnny Goodtimes

Yes, even the people who didn’t wear pants or have Google were better at making alcohol than you. Crafting A Nation Movie Premier

Books and beer don’t always go together, and the Free Library of Philadelphia is wondering, why not?
