We love beer. That's why we're devoting an entire year to discovering (and drinking) cold ones from near and far. Know of a beer worth shouting out? Send us a note at email@example.com.
One of the smallest breweries in the Garden State are also brewing some of the state’s most creative beers. You’re not going to see beer from Cape May Brewing Company that often—at least not for now—but if you see it, try it. The Bog, for example, is unlike anything you’ve had before. It’s essentially a cranberry shandy, a fruity, low alcohol beer made with oodles of those bitter & tart little bog berries. Pouring a bright pink color, there is no pretending this is anything but a fruit beer. The aroma is slightly tart, while the taste is a combination of sweet fruit and more tartness. Hints of grain are in the mix, too. The finish is crisp and dry. Unlike anything you’ve had before, summer is the perfect time of year to try this at The Pour House Westmont.
