Join the Philadelphia Folksong Society for an afternoon celebrating our musical roots in Roxborough's new Pocket Park! Featuring free live music, children's music classes with the Philadelphia Folk School's Miss Rachel, and fun outdoor activities for the whole family.

This event is presented by the City's Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy as part of Performances in Public Spaces, a summer series of FREE cultural performances in parks and plazas across Philadelphia neighborhoods. From May through October, the annual series brings arts and culture experiences to local outdoor spaces. All Performances in Public Spaces are free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. To find more free Performances in Public Spaces events, visit creativephl.org/pps.

Roxborough Roots is also generously supported by Green Mountain Energy and the Roxborough Development Corporation.
