A living funeral is a ceremony where participants face their own mortality to better understand life as a whole. It is not a mock funeral, but rather an exploration (in a workshop setting) of the ideas of mortality and selfhood on a personal level, allowing for self-exploration, progress in life, and meditation on the challenging ideas of life and death.
