“Although I like Nicole's article, i feel the need to point out that "The Beast in Me" was recorded by Nick Lowe because it's written by him, not Johnny Cash. Cash's recording is a cover. Mark Lanegan does a version also, released on the soundtrack to "The Hangover II".”

“Understandable to get confused on who "covered" the song. Lowe was Cash's son in law at the time, Lowe wrote the song but Cash ended up recording it first. Great article, I love Kilpatrick's art and will defintly check this show out.”
