You’re special. Unique. Fabulous. Only some off-the-beaten-path activities will do for you and your friends. Below is a list of suggestions for a few who are just as cool as you, champ. They’re recurring events (save the one Sunday), so you don’t have to try to do them all in a week, but it’d be pretty badass if you did.
Monday
National Mechanics (22 S. Thrid St.)
Starts: 9 p.m.
National Mechanics Monday Night Club is a self-described “clusterfuck” of bands and artists. Always something different, the ever-changing lineups will keep you on your toes.
Tuesday
Apollinare (1001 N. Second St.)
Starts: 8 p.m.
If you never got to check out Ortlieb’s Jazzhaus before it closed and feel too young to head into Chris’ Jazz Cafe, hit up this spot for a four-hour jazz block featuring quartet Peppe Merolla, who used to call Ortlieb’s home.
Wednesday
Q-Lounge (1234 Locust St.)
Starts: 10 p.m.
Werq every Wednesday and possibly win prizes at a great drag show featuring NYC drag super star Mimi Imfurst and DJ Salotta Tee.
Thursday

The always filthy and irreverant “Irish John” quiz you on alcoholism, Christianity and potatoes during his always-spirited Quizzo at the always-awesome Atlantis in Kensington.
